TAICHI QIGONG WEEKEND IN STANMER PARK, BRIGHTON
Learn the famous taichi shibashi (18-move) qigong form on a delightful summer weekend in Stanmer Park, Brighton.
The workshop will be held at the famous Earthship on the grass amidst the trees or – in case of bad weather – inside the earthship. Weather permitting, we can take our lunch and tea breaks round the fire pit.
What is taichi qigong? Developed by a Chinese doctor in the 1970s, this popular form is practised by millions throughout the world. Inspired by taichi, it focuses on a balanced and integrated body structure, smooth flowing movements, lower abdomninal breathing and a calm and present mind,. What will it do for me? practised regularly, taichi qigong can help build better physical, mental and emotional health, prevent disease, and be a true friend for life.
Is it for me? This weekend will be suitable both for complete beginners and more advanced practitioners. However, you will need to be comfortable standing up for fairly long periods of time.
